Job: Canadian Employer Urgently Looking for a Cook to Start Work as Soon as Possible | Worldwide

Just like the title suggests, a Canadian employer is urgently looking for a cook to start working as soon as possible. This position has just been posted and is open to anyone interested in applying, whether in Canada or outside Canada. If you have a passion for cooking and are open to learning more in the hospitality industry, then this job opportunity is for you.

This employer needs you to be an English speaker and have one year of relevant work experience. You need to have some college training certificate, but the employer is not specific if it has to be in hospitality. But listen, it makes sense that you ought to have a certificate in catering, food and nutrition, hotel management, or something close to that. If you are the lucky candidate, you will be based in Saskatchewan, a beautiful place, if you ask me.

As always, for any job that you will ever apply for in Canada, kindly make sure that you have a valid driver’s license. If you have one, make arrangements and get the international drivers license, which will allow you to start driving in Canada as you wait for your Canadian driver’s license. You should have your police clearance certificate handy because Canada needs to know that you are a law-abiding individual.

You will be required to manage kitchen operations, manage kitchen staff, and order supplies and equipment. It will be your responsibility to make sure that the kitchen always has the supplies to cater to the menu that is presented to clients. You will inspect the kitchen and food service areas to make sure that everything is in place and the kitchen is clean to the standard required at all times. You will be required to cook meals and clean the kitchen after everything is done.

Please note that you will be working in a very fast-paced environment, and the job is repetitive, so if you are someone who gets bored easily, this may not be the job for you.

This is a full-time position, and you will be paid $15:30 an hour to start, which could be higher depending on your negotiation skills.

You should be client-focused, reliable, and very organized. If you are not reliable, it means that food may be served late, which may hurt the overall business. Canadian employers do not play, if you do not perform to their expectations, it may cost you your job.
